Christmas Carol Sing-Along
Saturday, December 7th at 5:30pm
Come join us for about an hour of musical fun as we ring in the holiday season with a sing-along concert of Christmas Carols with our house band. We’ll have the lyrics as well as candy canes - you bring your voice for the fun. We’ll sing together for roughly 45 minutes.
This coincides with the Rockridge District Association Holidaze Event.
The Winter Solstice Labyrinth Walk
December 21st • 5-7pm
In our hemisphere December 21st is the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year (or the longest night)…it’s the point at which the daylight hours begin to grow again. It’s this metaphorical experience of the light turning the tables on the darkness of winter that is in large part the reason that the early Church moved the celebration of the birth of Jesus (Christmas) to December. Come celebrate this auspicious day/night with us with a labyrinth walk that will invite you to meditate upon the light and the darkness in your own life and our world as the seasons change and we as Christians celebrate Jesus a the Light of the World.
We’ll begin at sunset and continue this outside opportunity for active prayer and reflection from 5-7pm. We’ll also have a fire and s’mores to savor as we finish the evening.
If it rains we will move this event inside to our sanctuary.
Sunday, December 22nd @ 10:30AM
Come to our Sunday Gathering in your favorite Christmas Sweater - or any sweater!
We celebrate the big day on this last Sunday before Christmas with special music, sweater fun, and loads of Christmas Cookies.

Christmas Eve Celebration
December 24 @ 7:00pm
We’re doing our Christmas Even Candlelight Gathering that includes candles - carols - an impromptu Christmas pageant - choir music & chocolate - all in an informal, participatory and kid-inclusive setting. Our service will last for 50 minutes and include a candlelight singing of “Silent Night” as we retell the story of the birth of Jesus into a world threatened with despair, denial and homesickness.
